‘Tide of the century’ brings crowds to the French coast to watch the waves

Tourists flocked to the coasts of France to witness spectacularly high water levels as a month of large spring tides has kicked off. Brittany’s coastline and Mont-Saint-Michel were some of the most popular spots and this comes ahead of the so-called “tide of the century” expected to occur on 21st March. All localities will be on alert for possible flooding and storm waves along the Atlantic Coast. Read more: thelocal.fr
