Uber has responded to Spain’s recent ban of its taxi services by creating a food-delivery service called Uber Eats. Customers will be able to choose from a range of restaurants from around Barcelona, with a set delivery charge of €2.50. Barcelona is the second city after Los Angeles to feature Uber’s new service, however critics warn that the new incarnation could still face legal issues, as Spanish drivers require a licence to carry goods.
