Rome’s presidential palace to be open to the public every day

Italy’s new president, Sergio Mattarella, has announced that the country’s presidential palace, the Palazzo del Quirinale in Rome, which is larger than Buckingham Palace, will soon be open to visitors every day, rather than only on Sunday mornings, as at present. The plan is to open parts of the palace that have never been open to the public before, and to hold permanent and temporary shows there. Read more: ansa.it
