ABBA star records song for Matterhorn commemorations

It's 150 years since the first ascent of the Matterhorn.

As part of this year’s Matterhorn commemorations, former ABBA star Frida has recorded a song with local singer Dan Daniell. The song, called 1865, is dedicated to the ski resort town of Zermatt where Frida lives and will be released to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first ascent of the Matterhorn. Proceeds from the single’s sale will go to a foundation for children set up by Frida and Dan. Read more: thelocal.ch
