Barcelona festival brings DJs and giant arcade game to Reykjavík

Barcelona’s Sónar electronic music festival arrives in Reykjavík’s harbour-side Harpa centre this weekend. The festival’s third Icelandic outing features DJs such as Skrillex, Todd Terje and Jamie XX as well as Icelandic DJs and bands (including Margeir, Yamaho, Samaris and Prins Póló), playing across five stages. The façade of Harpa will turn into a 43m-tall arcade game that festival-goers can direct using their smartphones – between games, the 714 LED lights will respond to the sound in the main hall.
