Airport security chiefs call for review on controls

Senior representatives at Denmark’s three largest airports are calling for a review on the number of security checks that passengers must undergo before boarding a flight. Copenhagen Airport’s head of security, Johnnie Müller, says that not only have requirements forced the airport to double security personnel since 2007, he believes many of the procedures are unnecessary and are applied inconsistently throughout Europe’s airports.
