Herdsman in western China finds massive gold nugget on the ground

A herdsman in Xinjiang province in northwestern China has discovered a massive gold nugget. The 7.85-kilogram nugget was lying on the ground in Altay prefecture–whose name means ‘gold’ in Mongolian–when the herdsman found it. It is estimated that the 23-centimetre-long piece of gold is worth around US$255,000. Read more: wantchinatimes.com
