Malaysian government officially declares disappearance of MH370
Almost a year after Malaysian Airlines flight 370 disappeared without a trace en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, the Malaysian government has formally declared that it was an accident. The move should finally allow compensation payments to relatives of the 239 passengers and crew, now officially presumed dead.
