Tokyo and Singapore named as world's safest cities

Tokyo, followed by Singapore, are the world’s safest cities, according to a new report by the Economist Intelligence Unit that looks at urban security. The Safe Cities Index, with a focus on 50 cities worldwide, looked at qualitative and quantitative indicators spread across four categories: infrastructure safety, personal safety, digital security, and health security. Another Asian capital, Jakarta, came in at the bottom of the list. Read more: asianewsnet.net
