A Norwegian chef has won the Bocuse d’Or, the world’s most prestigious award for culinary art. Ørjan Johannessen, who works at Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri, in Austevoll, southwestern Norway, demonstrated his talent over five hours and in front of a panel of expert judges, as well as an audience of 2500 food critics and writers in Lyon, France.
