New rules for Seoul taxi drivers on the heels of passenger vomiting fee

Seoul’s taxi drivers will be slapped with fines and revoked permits from Thursday if they refuse passengers. The city government announced its “three-strike rule”, which will see drivers liable for large fines, suspensions and having their permits revoked for refusing a passenger. This comes as Seoul announced on Wednesday that passengers would be liable for large fines for vomiting and unruly behaviour in taxis. Read more: koreaherald.com
