East Java experiencing dengue ‘crisis’

East Java authorities have declared a state of emergency over an outbreak of dengue fever, which has infected 1,054 people – 25 of whom have died – in 38 regencies and cities. The public have been urged to help prevent Aedes aegypti mosquitoes from reproducing by draining stagnant water in which the dengue-carrying insects breed. Read more: thejakartapost.com
