Rare celestial conditions give Mongolia three suns

Mongolia is currently experiencing rare conditions that make three suns seem to appear in the sky. The phenomenon happens when high sunlight passes through snow crystals, and only occurs when temperatures drop below -30ºC. Three suns appear on the horizon – the one in the middle is the real sun and the two on each side are its rare reflections. Read more: themarysue.com
