Chicago’s popular Michael Jordan statue could be moved indoors

A statue in Chicago of basketball player Michael Jordan leaping into the air to make a shot could be moved inside if plans for a new office building go ahead. The statue is a popular spot for visitors and basketball fans to take pictures of themselves with the Chicago Bulls player who was known as ‘Air Jordan’ for his jumping ability. Plans for a new office building outside the United Center where the statue is currently located shows the statue residing inside the lobby meaning fans will only be able to access the statue during business hours.
