Giant ice-sculpture beaver goes on display in Sweden

An artist in Luleå, northern Sweden, who has created a wildlife-themed ice-sculpture every year since 1986, has unveiled his latest creation: a giant beaver. The annual sculptures – which also incorporate a children’s slide – have become a huge attraction in the town and artist Hans Eglund believes his work is so popular because it is ‘both art and playground’.
