Jakarta hotels now required to welcome guests with traditional music

Indonesia’s newly installed Jakarta Culture and Tourism Agency head, Purba Hutapea, will reportedly call on hotels in the capital to play traditional music to showcase Indonesian culture. Hotels will be urged to provide space in the lobby for traditional musicians to perform for guests, or play recordings where space is unavailable. Read more: jakartapost.com
