Indonesian government retracts flight sanctions

Indonesia’s transport ministry has retracted its decision to freeze a number of flight services offered by TransNusa Air Services and Garuda Indonesia after both airlines were found to have valid permits. Some Lion Air, Wings Air, and Susi Air services, however, remain affected. Meanwhile, in a major breakthrough for the recovery of bodies and wreckage of crashed Indonesia AirAsia flight 8501, divers reportedly retrieved one of two black boxes from the Java Sea on Monday.
