Security warning updated for travellers to Indonesia

The Australian government has updated its advice to nationals travelling to Indonesia after the US warned of a potential threat against US-associated hotels and banks in the Javanese city of Surabaya. Australians have already been advised to exercise a high degree of caution across Indonesia, but are now also being told that Indonesian immigration officials may refuse entry to visitors with a criminal record.
