International wine and jazz festival set for south Brazil

The Brazilian city of Florianópolis will host its first International Festival of Wine and Jazz from 7-11 January at Hotel Pousada Oceanomare. More than 60 blues and jazz musicians are slated to perform and attendees will have the opportunity to sample over 100 wine labels from more than 20 countries. Festival organizers hope to make the event an annual one, as the city receives nearly a million tourists during the high season and is known for its jazz and blues music scene.
