Icelandic public toilet to become exhibition space
A Reykjavík museum is to take over a women’s public toilet. The Living Art museum has been granted access to the facility, on Bankastræti in central Reykjavík, which was shut seven years ago. The space will be used for exhibitions, and the museum director said the toilets would ‘spark new ideas and provoke young artists to experiment’. Read more: icelandreview.com
