Schloss Charlottenburg wing reopens after two years
Visitors to Berlin’s Schloss Charlottenburg will be able to explore the recently restored ‘New Wing’ from 26 December. Built by Frederick the Great in 1742, the star attractions are the ‘White Salon’ and the king’s own art collection. The wing has been closed to the public for two years to undergo extensive renovations, which form part of a wider €14.3 million restoration project due for completion in 2017. Read more: thelocal.de
