Airfares in Nepal to fall in line with oil prices

Airfares in Nepal are set to fall on Tuesday as fuel duty is slashed in response to falling global oil prices. Fares for many other forms of transport are also fixed in relation to oil prices, so fares for bus journeys and taxi rides will also come down in the coming days. The drop in prices will come as a welcome relief after the government imposed a 5.63% increase in passenger fares at the start of November. Read more: ekantipur.com
