Delhi shivers while Europe enjoys mild Christmas

Temperatures in Delhi have dropped to the lowest level this year, after nine days of colder-than-average winter weather. At 4°C, Delhi is colder than London and colder than Shimla, the Himalayan hill station where Delhi residents holiday in winter for a glimpse of snow. The cold weather is contributing to heavy fog which is delaying flights and train services and causing chaos on the roads. Meteorologists believe that the foggy conditions will continue until at least 28 December. Read more: timesofindia.indiatimes.com
