Reindeer, puffer fish and 20,000 phones: London's lost property

Transport for London’s lost property office marked its 80th anniversary this year, and has revealed the strange things things travellers have left behind in 2014. Items in the Baker Street office include 10,907 umbrellas, a giant cuddly red-nosed reindeer, a puffer fish, African carvings, a school lollipop and a man-size Spider-Man. Mobile phones have replaced gloves and umbrellas as the most common items handed in – 20,309 were left on London’s transport network in 2014.
