Disputed ‘earlier Mona Lisa’ makes world premiere in Singapore

A portrait of a younger Mona Lisa, which its owners claim was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci, has gone on public display for the first time in 400 years. The painting, which is thought to have been painted 10 years before the Italian master’s more famous version, was unveiled at Singapore’s Arts House, where it will remain on show until 11 February. The authenticity of the work, however, has been disputed by some experts who claim it is merely a copy. Read more: bbc.co.uk
