Revolution-era time capsule unearthed in Boston

A cigar-box-sized time capsule buried 219 years ago by Paul Revere and Samuel Adams has been excavated from a cornerstone of the statehouse on Beacon Hill, Boston. A conservationist from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts spent hours carefully chiselling away to unearth the box, which is possibly the oldest such artifact ever discovered in the US. The museum will now X-ray the box to reveal what the revolutionary heroes concealed inside. Read more: usatoday.com
