The youngest son of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara has launched Harley Davidson motorbike tours of Cuba as a homage to his father’s famous 1950s two-wheeled journey through South America. The youngest Guevara’s tour agency, La Poderosa Tours, intends to focus on the Caribbean island’s landscape but also promises to offer a unique glimpse into the history of the revolution. The six- to nine-day rides will pitch up at five-star hotels overnight and by day will visit key revolutionary sites such as Che’s mausoleum, his base in Havana and Santa Clara, where an important battle was played out in 1958. One of the tour guides is the son of Cuban guerrilla Antonio Sánchez Díaz. Tour prices range from $3,000 to $5,800.  Read more: ticotimes.net
