Direct train service from Rome Fiumicino to Venice launched

A new direct train service connecting Rome’s Fiumicino airport with other Italian cities, including Venice, Florence, Bologna and Padua is to be launched on Sunday. The move should make it easier for visitors to Italy who arrive and depart from Fiumicino to visit other parts of the country, as previously it was necessary to change trains in central Rome.
