It was supposed to bring a little festive warmth to TGI Friday’s around America, but the launch of the food chain’s ‘mistletoe’ drone – a remote-controlled helicopter that dangles pieces of the berried twig above diners inciting a kiss – went horribly wrong when the flying machine clipped a photographer in the face taking off part of her nose. ‘It literally chipped off a tip of my nose,’ said Georgine Benvenuto who was covering the launch in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn for a local paper.
