Russian Railways has cancelled passenger train services to several neighbouring countries, including Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. There will be no train services to these destinations from 14 December for one year. The decision was made due to low profitability. Trains to Belarus, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Abkhazia have not been cancelled. Read more: itar-tass.com
