Mega game reserve planned for South Africa’s west coast

Landowners along the west coast of South Africa have shown support for the potential creation of a mega game reserve that will stretch from the Blaauwberg Nature Reserve to the West Coast National Park. The project would see fences come down to enable new wildlife introduction and allow animals to roam widely. Spin offs could include the development of hiking and biking trails along the entire length of reserve, as well as a variety of new accommodations for tourism. Read more: tourismupdate.co.za
