A new device called a ‘Falcon Master’ has paved the way for falcons to be allowed in the cabin of Lufthansa flights, airline officials have confirmed. The special tray fits into collapsed seats on the aircraft, and offers ‘maximum hygienic protection’ from any potential soiling on board. Customers from the Middle East, where falconry is extremely popular, are the target market for the service, and it’s set to be available on Lufthansa flights before the end of 2015.
