Passengers score half-price fares thanks to Singapore Airlines ticketing glitch

Ticketing glitch sees Singapore Airlines flights reduced to up to half price.

Christmas arrived early for hundreds of travellers who booked business-class tickets on Singapore  Airlines flights for as much as half price. The error, which was corrected on Monday, reportedly occurred when the airline loaded business-class fares for flights between Australia and London into a global booking system that travel agents use to sell tickets to customers. It’s understood that that airline has since instructed agents to seek the difference between the actual price and what they should have sold for from their customers, or foot the bill themselves.
