New ‘smart fabric’ clothing line will smell of whisky

A new fabric that smells like whisky has been developed. The material uses tweed from the Hebridean  island of Harris, treated with a scent called Aqua Alba, which has been developed by whisky producer Johnnie Walker. The ‘smart fabric’ has been designed to keep its smell of ‘rich malt, golden vanilla, red fruit and dark chocolate tones’ even when washed. Read more: bbc.co.uk
