Temperatures soar as hottest spring on record hits Australia

Australia has had its hottest spring on record, the latest in a series of hot springs over the past decade. Heatwaves in New South Wales and Queensland plus low rainfall in the southeastern states are the major factors in this change in climate in Australia. Mean temperatures in November were the second-hottest on record. Higher summer temperatures are now being seen in late November and early December in some parts of Australia. Read more: abc.net.au
