Passengers give frozen plane a push in Siberia as temperatures plummet to -50C

Passengers on a flight from Igarka Airport to Krasnoyarsk in eastern Siberia helped the plane take off in a highly unconvential manner. The plane was stranded on the runway due to extremely low temperatures of -50 degrees Celcius, which caused the braking system in its landing gear to freeze in the parking position. The passengers, fearing flight delays, left the aircraft and helped get it moving by giving each of the wings a push. The plane was ultimately able to take off and safely landed at the destination, but the officials are investigating if this action breached the aviation safety regulations. Read more: edition.cnn.com
