A group of almost 2000 Thai school children have broken the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of Christmas elves. Wearing white, red and green hats, matching T-shirts and pointy plastic elf ears, the children clustered together to form the word Siam, the former name of Bangkok, outside a shopping mall in the Thai capital to be declared the winners. Fourteen children, however, were disqualified for not putting on their elf ears. Read more: straitstimes.com
