Flights diverted as no-fly zone declared over Ferguson, Missouri

A three-mile radius of air space over Ferguson, Missouri, was declared a no-fly zone by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) late on Monday night, after protesters and police clashed in a night of violence following the grand jury’s decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson. Flights into Lambert-St. Louis International Airport were diverted to ‘provide a safe environment for law enforcement activities,’ according to the FAA. Read more: nydailynews.com
