Air India accounted for 80% of flight delays in India in October

According to new statistics, flights operated by Air India, the national carrier of India, are delayed more frequently than flights by any other airline in the country. Of the 62,000 airline passengers delayed by more than two hours during the month of October, more than 80% were flying on flights operated by the state-owned carrier. The number of AI passengers hit by delays more than doubled compared to the preceding month, with the airline blaming technical problems with engines and management issues. Read more: timesofindia.com
