Five people die as snowstorms hammer USA

Massive dumps of snow and frigid temperatures hammered much of the US on Tuesday with at least five people dead as a result. Around 50% of the country had snow on the ground on Tuesday with Buffalo, New York, being the worst hit with 6 ft of snow falling so far and more on its way on Wednesday. The storms have caused havoc on the roads with people trapped in vehicles. In Alden, New York, a man was found dead inside his car which was buried under 12 to 15 ft of snow. More cold is on its way on Wednesday, especially in the northeast and midwest. Read more: cnn.com
