Train ticket sales in China to be extended to 60 days in advance

Travellers in China will soon be able to buy railway tickets up to 60 days in advance. The change brings the advance purchase period up from the previous 20 days, and will allow passengers to plan ahead, especially during the extremely busy peak periods, such as Chinese New Year. The change is set to take effect from 1 December, meaning that tickets for the 2015 Chinese New Year period will most likely be available from 21 December. Read more: thenanfang.com
