Temperatures plummet in 49 of 50 US states as Siberian winds strike
America is feeling the chill of winter a little early this year as temperatures plummet to below freezing in 49 states. Hawaii was the only state not to record a temperature below freezing on Tuesday morning. The cold air is coming in from Siberia and, according to the Weather Channel, this may mean some areas in the northeast will experience the longest spell of subfreezing temperatures ever recorded for November.
