SANParks warns of delays for Kruger National Park

SANParks has warned visitors who are planning to enter Kruger National Park via the Malelane Gate in the next few days to leave extra time for their journey. There are currently stop-and-go roadworks en route to the gate, which are causing delays of up to 90 minutes, and the officials don’t want people to miss the strict cut-off times at the park gate and camps. Detours to Numbi Gate via the R538 (between White River and Hazyview) are not recommended because of poor road conditions, but SANParks has advised that taking the R40 to Phabeni or Kruger Gates could be used as alternative routes.
