Waltzers take to the streets in Vienna to celebrate the start of the ball season

Thousands of dancers took to the streets in Vienna’s first district on Tuesday to celebrate the start of Fasching (carnival), which kicks off the Vienna Ball season. The ball season peaks in January and February with over 450 balls to attend throughout the season including dancing in the new year at the Hofburg Palace. Read more: thelocal.at
