Unseasonably early snow blankets Midwest, cold snap hits the South

Snow and freezing temperatures have struck much of the United States this week thanks to Super Typhoon Nuri. The upper Midwest and Great Lakes are blanketed in snow and Southern cities will experience temperatures in the 40s this week, although the normal high for this time of year is in the 60s. Forecasters say temperatures will warm up for the weekend but another Arctic blast is due next week. Read more: cnn.com
