New York gets a bright new subway station with added natural light

The sparkling new Fulton Center subway station opened all of its 27 entrances on Monday morning, offering commuters in New York City a state-of-the-art transport hub, as well as natural light. The centrepiece of the station is a huge reflective dome which has been designed to bring light from the outside deep into the subterranean station. The hub connects nine lines and will eventually extend to the World Trade Center. Read more: nytimes.com
