Intense Alaska storm will bring frigid temperatures to USA next week

An intensive storm is expected to strike Alaska’s western Aleutian Islands this weekend, bringing unseasonably frigid temperatures to many other parts of the USA next week. Potentially one of the most intensive storms to hit the North Pacific, the storm is what remains of Typhoon Nuri and is mixing with cold air and jet stream as it moves noretheast off the coast of Japan.  Read more: usatoday.com
