Singapore hotels say no to shark fin soup

Some of the world’s largest hospitality groups have joined a Singapore campaign to ban the sale of shark fin soup. Hilton Worldwide, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and Hyatt are among the major industry players who have lent their support to the I’m Finished With Fins (IFWF) campaign, which aims to educate the public about shark conservation. Fifteen Singaporean hotels have banned shark fin from their menus to date, as have 24 airlines, including national carrier Singapore Airlines. Read more: straitstimes.com
