Flights between Colombo and Kathmandu resume after 30 years
Flights between Nepal and Sri Lanka are set to resume after a gap of 30 years. The two countries have signed an Air Service Agreement which should see flights between Kathmandu and Colombo operating from March 2015. Flights between the two countries were cancelled in the 1980s because of fears of terrorism during Sri Lanka’s long and bloody civil war. Read more: khabarsouthasia.com
