Conservationists save Montenegro bird watching site

Conservationist organisations, including BirdLife International, have succeeded in preventing the development projects in a wetland area of coastal Montenegro going ahead for another 10 years. The Ulcinj Salina habitat is considered one of the most significant nesting, wintering, and roosting sites for migratory birds in the Mediterranean region, with 250 recorded bird species.
